You can change your Load Work plan at any time from the billing page. Upgrades and downgrades are handled through Stripe, and proration is automatic. You can also cancel entirely, which stops billing and may limit access to your data.

Where to change your plan

Go to Organization → Billing, then click Change plan. The billing page shows your current plan, billing cycle, and the button to start a plan change.

Upgrade or downgrade

1

Open Change plan

In Organization → Billing, click Change plan. The Compare plans modal opens.
2

Select a plan

Pick the plan you want to switch to.
3

Switch in Stripe

Click Switch in Stripe. You will land in Stripe to confirm the change.
4

Return to Load Work

After confirming, Stripe brings you back to Load Work automatically.
In-app copy to expect: “Pick a plan to switch in Stripe. Proration is automatic and you’ll land right back here.”

What happens when you downgrade

If you switch to a plan with lower limits, the new seat and truck limits apply immediately. Load Work does not delete excess data, but you may lose access to features or data that exceed the new plan. For example:
  • If you drop from Pro to Essential, extra team members beyond 1 seat may become inaccessible.
  • If you had more than 2 trucks, the extra trucks may no longer be active in matching.

Cancel your plan

To stop billing entirely, use the same Change plan flow and select the lowest or cancel option in Stripe. This cancels your subscription but keeps your organization active on a free or limited tier if one is available. If you want a full, permanent removal, use Delete organization instead.
To permanently remove your organization, team, saved loads, and rules, use Delete your organization. That action cannot be undone.
