Adding a truck tells Load Work what equipment you run so the load board can filter for matching freight. The equipment type you select here is what determines which loads appear on your board. Plans limit how many trucks you can add: 2 on Essential, 25 on Pro, and unlimited on Enterprise.

How to add your first truck

Open the Trucks page

In the left sidebar, click Fleet → Trucks, then click Add truck.

Fill in required fields

Enter the Truck name, Unit number, and Equipment type at minimum.

Add optional details

Fill in VIN, dimensions, payload capacity, liftgate, team drivers, photos, and notes to keep better records and improve matching.

Save the truck

Click Save. The truck now appears in your fleet list and counts toward your plan limit.
Expected result: the truck appears immediately in your fleet table at Fleet → Trucks. The equipment type you selected now shapes which loads surface on your board and in your notification rules.
You can come back and edit any truck later. Keeping the current location updated helps dispatchers see which unit is closest to a hot load.
ELD live tracking is coming later. For now, location is manual.
With your truck in the system, you are ready to run your first load search.
